Bill Whitlow

Bill pairs his twenty five year tenure in commercial real estate with the past decade he’s worked as a retained executive recruiter to provide both Terra and clients with deep insights and industry and functional context across a broad spectrum of areas including finance and capital markets, organizational structure and strategy, asset and property management, and development and leasing. During his real estate career, he held senior positions at firms such as Venture Corporation, Savills Studley, Arthur Andersen and Aetna Realty Investors (currently UBS Realty Investors), where he provided capital markets and strategic direction on projects and portfolios valued in excess of $6 billion. Bill earned a Masters of Management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Illinois.

Community Commitment: Currently Vice Chair, Silver Multifamily Council, Urban Land Institute, and Committee Member, National Multi Housing Council.  Former Board member of the San Francisco Bay Area YMCA, the San Jose Chapter of the American Red Cross, and the Silicon Valley Roundtable Executive Board of the University of Illinois Foundation. Past supporter of Project Open Hand, AIDS Foundation, and Sacred Heart Schools.

Personal Passions: International travel to experience new cultures, motorcycling, snowboarding, boxing, guitar, drums, self-appointed architectural design critic, and relaxing on the patio or on our pontoon party boat with family and friends both old and new to enjoy the sights and sounds of our quiet spring fed Laguna Lake.
